Chapter 1 The Moon Shines on the River, Come Here
Chapter 1: Crushed by the Main Lead
The Moon Shines on the River, Come Here
I clutched my throbbing head. How much did I drink at that damn party last night? My entire body ached, and there was this… weird, uncomfortable pain in places I didn’t even want to think about. I forced myself to sit up.
“Ugh…”
Wait, how the hell did I even get back to the mansion? No—hold on. Where the fuck am I?
I blinked my bleary eyes and looked around. White walls, a wardrobe, and only the bare essentials—this wasn’t my cozy bedroom from the past 10 years. My head still foggy from the booze, I stared blankly at the ceiling. What kind of place is this?
Something shifted beside me. My body jerked instinctively, and I turned to look.
Silver-white hair glowing like moonlight. A lean but annoyingly perfect physique. A face so unrealistically beautiful it could make saints sin, even while asleep. I rubbed my eyes and looked again. Nope. The same goddamn Adonis was still lying there.
“Fuck, I’m screwed.”
It was Ian. Ian Leonis—the main lead of the novel I’d been fucking isekai’d into!
Seeing his face, my brain short-circuited. I scrambled out of bed like my ass was on fire.
The blanket slid down, and—yep, I was buck naked. My body was covered in suspicious bruises, and a sharp ache shot through my lower back the moment I stood. This has to be a nightmare. Please, let it be a nightmare!
I stared at Ian’s sleeping face, torn between slapping him and bolting. Then his brow twitched. If he wakes up and sees me here, I’m dead. I grabbed the nearest clothes, yanked them on, and spun toward the door—
“Mmph… Who’s…?”
“Shit!”
I hurled a pillow at his face and bolted out of the room. Behind me, I heard a muffled shout, but I didn’t look back.

Ian’s Perspective
Ian woke up to a pillow smacking him square in the face. Blinking through his hangover haze, he caught a glimpse of disheveled brown hair and wide, panicked green eyes before the door slammed shut.
Jaden Grace.
He stared at the empty bed, his expression darkening. Un-fucking-believable. He’d slept with Jaden Grace—the notorious brat who’d been nothing but a thorn in his side since day one.
“What the actual fuck is this?”
The same Jaden who’d sneered at him, picked fights, and clearly hated his guts. The same Jaden who’d apparently seduced him last night. But what pissed him off more than the shame was the memory of Jaden’s face—flushed, teary-eyed, and unfairly pretty in the throes of pleasure.
“Fuck.”
Ian, the “saintly” crown prince who supposedly drank morning dew and spoke in poetry, was now cursing like a sailor. He glared at the tented sheets over his lap, equal parts horrified and furious. Why the hell is my body reacting like this?!

Jaden’s Perspective
I tiptoed back to the mansion at dawn, having bribed a carriage driver to drop me off a block away. Slipping in through a servant’s entrance, I dodged the few staff members already awake. Thank God I’m playing the “temperamental villain” here—no one dares question me.
I’d almost reached my room when—
“Jaden.”
“Eep!”
A chill crept down my spine. I turned slowly to see Eloi, my half-brother, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
“B-Brother!”
“Did you just sneak in?”
His icy glare pinned me in place. If he finds out, I’m dead.
“O-Of course not! I just… went for an early walk! You know I can’t sleep anywhere but home!”
I forced a laugh, but Eloi’s eyes narrowed. His gaze dropped to my rumpled clothes.
“That outfit… It’s the same as yesterday’s.”
My heart stopped. Deny, deny, deny!
“Haha, don’t be silly! All my clothes look the same!”
Eloi frowned. “Stop smiling. It’s creepy.”
He stared at me a beat longer before finally turning away. As he left, he muttered, “Liar.”
He always says that when I lie.
The moment he disappeared, my legs gave out. Too close.
I dragged myself to my room and collapsed onto the bed, my back and other areas screaming in protest.
What the hell happened last night?! I slept with the main lead?! Park Min-soo, are you out of your damn mind?!

Flashback: Park Min-soo’s Backstory
Ten years ago, I’d gotten isekai’d into this shitshow of a BL novel—The Moon Shines on the River, Come Here. I’d stumbled onto my sister’s phone, read it out of curiosity, and somehow got sucked into the damn thing.
The plot? Min-Soo, a half-human, half-moon sprite, gets adopted by a count’s family, falls for the tsundere crown prince, and then—to make the prince jealous—starts collecting suitors like Pokémon. Even his own brother, Eloi, gets roped into the mess.
Typical trashy romance, but addictive as hell. The crown prince was a garbage person, and Min-Soo got put through the wringer, but I ate it up.
Then I died—well, got hit by a car after a drunk night out. Instead of heaven, I floated around as a ghost until some “god” offered to reincarnate me into any fictional world I wanted. Guess which one I picked?
