Chapter 3 My Brother

 3 My Brother

"Yeah, I guess... I didn't know Ian was that stupid, but it's good."

"Yeah! But weren't you always watching me?"

I was surprised that Cecil, who could always know my situation even when he wasn't around, didn't seem to know that I had thrown a pillow.

"I don't just watch you all the time, idiot. I'll be off then."

"Okay, see you!"

I patted his shoulder and waved goodbye as Cecil transformed back into a small fox and jumped out the window. Cecil was not only my helper but also the only one who could make me act like Park Min-soo for a while.

I felt relieved and decided to take a shower and then go bother the servants. This was how Jaden's day started after being possessed by Park Min-soo.

*

The water in the shower was lukewarm, and as I washed myself, I looked at my reflection in the mirror. My nipples were slightly swollen, and there were red marks all over my body, along with occasional bite marks. I was glad that he hadn't left any marks on the exposed parts of my body.

It was my first time having sex, but I didn't feel much excitement. I had sex with a man, but I was surprised when I was penetrated, as I had never thought about being taken by a man before. It wasn't that I was homophobic or anything. I had heard that anal sex was great, and it turned out to be true. After all, it wasn't even my real body.

I reached out and touched my buttocks, feeling the slightly swollen hole. It was sore, and I frowned at the sensation. ‘How did his penis fit in there when it was so tight?’ The human body is truly mysterious.

I hadn't seen the size of Ian's penis because I was drunk, but I assumed it was similar to Jaden's. Ian was a bottom, so he wouldn't need a big penis. That's probably why it didn't hurt much. Or maybe Jaden was just skilled.

I tried to guess the size of Ian's penis, but the scene of our intercourse kept popping into my mind, so I shook my head. It didn't matter anymore. I patted Jaden's sore buttocks once and stopped when I felt a sharp pain.

I hummed a tune as I kicked the bathroom door open and stepped out.

Suddenly, I froze, my eyes meeting the butler's. I was so startled that I just stood there with my mouth open before quickly changing my expression. I glared at the butler angrily.

"Who told you to enter my bedroom without permission!"

The butler quickly lowered his head and replied.

I felt a bit guilty for being rude to someone much older than me, but after 10 years of playing this role, it was becoming a habit.

"I'm sorry. It was an emergency, so I had no choice."

His tone was defiant, even as he apologized. I narrowed my eyes and crossed my arms.

"What kind of emergency? If it isn't an emergency, you'll be kicked out of this mansion!"

I was quite proud of my acting skills.

"The young master is calling you to his study."

My mischievous expression faded as I heard that Eloi was calling for me. I had just seen him, hadn't I?

"What? My brother...?"

"Yes."

The butler replied dryly and looked up at me with a clear smirk on his face. Yes, he must be enjoying seeing me scared after all the mischief I had caused.

"Okay... I'll go."

The butler backed away, still with his head lowered.

‘Damn it, damn it, damn it. Did he find out that I had lied? Did one of the servants I passed on my way here report me? Those petty bastards! Eloi wouldn't bother asking them when I arrived, so they must have reported me. I remember all their faces. I'll deal with them later! If I'm still alive after meeting with Eloi…’

"Haa..."

I sighed, feeling my shoulders slump. I trudged towards Eloi's study like a lamb being led to slaughter.

‘Well, he probably wouldn't actually kill me, right?’

*

I knocked on the door lightly, and a soft, androgynous voice called out, "Come in." The voice wasn't particularly high-pitched, but it wasn't low either. I swallowed nervously and entered the room.

The sunlight shone brightly, making Eloi's golden hair sparkle. He looked at me with his blood-red eyes, then gestured for me to sit on the sofa arranged in a straight line. I sat down, watching his every move. It seemed like he hadn't found out about my lie.

I wondered if there was another reason he had called me here. As I was thinking, Eloi put down his quill and came to sit next to me.

I expected him to sit across from me, but he sat right next to me, causing me to flinch and lean back.

"Brother."

‘Ah, so he didn't call me here because of my lie.’

He always called me 'brother' before giving me some dangerous task. And he wasn't even my real brother, not a drop of blood related.

I almost laughed at Eloi's wicked behavior, but I pretended to be touched and widened my eyes.

"You have a task to complete."

"Yes, brother! What is it?"

I clenched my fist and looked eager, but I was curious about what he would ask me to do. Sneak into the royal palace and listen to Ian the crown prince's conversation? Or collect poison from a plant-type monster that only grows in remote areas? I racked my brain, trying to remember what Jaden did around this time in the novel. But there didn't seem to be anything significant until the attempted assassination of Ian. Could he be asking me to prepare for Ian's assassination? But... Jaden...

"There's someone you need to take care of."

Eloi smiled maliciously, his breath tickling my ear. It was a truly villainous smile.

"Kill Ian Leonis."

"Ah..."

I looked at Eloi in surprise. He slowly caressed my earlobe before sitting back in his chair.

"Can you do it?"

I stared at Eloi for a moment before nodding, my expression showing that I would blindly follow his orders, just like Jaden would.

"Of course, brother! Finally, we're going to kill that bastard."

I clenched my fist and glared, and Eloi laughed, lifting one corner of his mouth.

"Yes, you're my brother. The best time would be during the Crown Prince's birthday celebration two months from now."

I nodded in agreement.

"And since you can't get Ian's blood on your hands, you'll need to hire an assassin from this place."

Eloi handed me a piece of paper with a simple phrase and a symbol of intertwined flowers and dragons. I was shocked to see the symbol of the Aurum Guild, a secret guild run by the Crown Prince.

"Th-this is..."

I couldn't hide my surprise and looked at Eloi. He seemed amused by my reaction. Previous Patreon Next
